Who Can Benefit?
I love this question because the answer is simple — anyone! As humans, we all have a pelvis and a pelvic floor, which play vital roles in everything from bladder and bowel control to core stability and sexual health. My personal professional focus is usually working with clients through the adult lifespan.
What to Expect at Your First Appointment
At our first visit, we’ll start with a one-on-one conversation focused on getting to know you and understanding your concerns. We’ll discuss your main symptoms, health history, and goals, followed by a physical assessment that may include posture, movement, breathing, and core function.
If appropriate — and only with your fully informed consent — we may also discuss including an internal pelvic floor exam. This is only suggested if it’s relevant to your care, and only if you feel comfortable. It is always optional, and you are always in control.
By the end of the session, we’ll review the findings together and develop a personalized treatment plan to help you move forward with confidence and clarity.
What to Expect During Treatment
Treatment sessions may include a combination of education, exercise prescription, hands-on techniques, and pelvic floor retraining.
The frequency of treatment depends largely on your individual goals. Sometimes, just one or two sessions are enough to get started confidently with education and exercise on your own. More often, especially in the beginning, we’ll check in regularly to reassess symptoms, adjust your treatment plan, and ensure everything aligns with your comfort and progress.
My goal is to support you as much or as little as you need in feeling more in control of your body and confident in your recovery — every step of the way.
