Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral from my doctor to start physiotherapy?
No referral is needed. You can book an appointment directly with a physiotherapist. However, some insurance plans may require a referral for reimbursement — I recommend checking with your provider.
Do you accept insurance?
We are a private pay clinic and we do not direct bill to extended health plans, but you’ll receive a detailed receipt you can submit to your extended health benefits provider. Please check your individual plan for coverage details.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
-
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and access to the area being treated (e.g., shorts for knees, tanks for shoulders).
-
Bring any relevant medical information, such as recent imaging reports, referral forms, or a list of medications.
-
Arrive a few minutes early and, if possible, complete any intake paperwork in advance so we can start on time and make the most of your appointment.
